Filter Media and Filter Materials
Saifilter produces a wide range of porous metal and polymer materials to provide the best solution for a wide range of applications. These Filtration Media can be purchased for OEM products or integrated and packaged into the final product. Our core Filtration Media are: sintered metal porous materials are mainly sintered porous stainless steel and bronze materials, sintered metal fibers, and multi-layer stainless steel woven mesh, sintered porous plastic materials are mainly sintered porous polyethylene and polypropylene materials.
Metal woven mesh
Saifilter produces precision woven mesh in a variety of woven forms, from ordinary square woven mesh to Holland (Hollander) twill weave, providing the clearest absolute rating. Ordinary square weaves allow for simple screening tasks in a variety of weaves (reverse Dutch plain, wide mesh and single-sided), while Dutch twill weave offers the most comprehensive surface filtration task options.
Sintered Wire Mesh Composite
Saifilter's sintered metal mesh composite multilayer filter media is produced using a novel sintering process with excellent mechanical robust construction and excellent filtration performance. Mainly composed of 316L stainless steel materials, they can also be selected according to different process requirements, such as Hastelloy and Monel materials, used in the harshest environments. Available forms include flat plates, custom shapes, welded cones and welded cylinders, and the materials can be manufactured in various combinations of layers depending on your specific application. Standard material combinations can include perforated plates to provide additional support.
Sintered Metal Fiber
It is made of randomly laid metal fibers that are sintered to form a uniform high pore gradient filter media with significant low pressure drop, high magnetic permeability and excellent customer dust. Its ruggedness allows the media to be used in different shapes, whether pleated or not, without affecting the filtration characteristics, and can be welded and reused. Because metal fibers can be formulated to meet specific application requirements, sintered metal fiber filters can be cleaned in place without interrupting the process, providing ultimate process economics by minimizing downtime. It is an efficient and economical filter media.
Sintered Porous Plastic
Sintered porous plastic materials are now being used in an expanding market. Sintered microporous thermoplastic media offers solutions that meet the following application requirements: wicking, absorption and adsorption, silencing and mute, filtration, barrier protection, diffusion, fluidization, platooning gas. We manufacture a wide range of sintered porous plastic materials, including standard and custom molded parts as well as slabs, rods, tubes and sheets.
These sintered materials may be made of a thermoplastic polymer such as polyethylene or polypropylene, having a pore size ranging from 5 to 350 microns, a typical void volume of 30% to 50%, but up to 70%, in various shapes and Dimensions with a defined pore size distribution and withstand temperatures up to 230°F (110°C), excellent robustness, chemical resistance and chemical compatibility.
